I've looked at the stuff with the crocodile stitch and have really wanted to try it, there's a fish pattern around somewhere that has the scales done that way and I've been tempted...

I haven't tried clothing yet. I can't keep my tension stable and end up with funky looking things from time to time.

Crocheted clothing is awfully unforgiving... not nearly as stretchy as knitting. I'm toying with the idea of trying something more than hats and scarves for adults and giving a sweater vest or something a try. I'm just chicken it won't fit and then I'll be all bummed out over it.

Eh. Adults have funny body shapes anyway. Hard to get one pattern to fit ANYONE. If you get on etsy, you'll notice you could probably make a fortune on selling amigurumi.
