On the ninth day of Christmas...

You know, I'm noticing a distinct lack of sappy seasonal junk in these posts this year. No waxing nostalgic, no meaningful messages, no group hugs. You guys chill with that? Because I can see if I can work something up for the wrap up. No guarantees, you understand...
But anyway, I held back something with a little more length, but dunno how it's going to fly... it's back to the Ion verse, but it's OC POV... the notion amused me at any rate... :D
