Ok, I'm coming to the vast well of LJ experience to ask a question, because I'm thinking that one or two of you have probably had your wisdom teeth out in the surgical way. (Mine came in far enough to just pull).
So... the off-spring is having her wisdom teeth removed Monday morning... or at least... that was the plan. Friday, we had the preliminary appointment with the surgeon and during the interview, the nurse mentioned that there would be a packet of antibiotics given to us that the kid was to take... the kid thinks it was the night before, I thought it was the morning of... but at any rate, they forgot to give them to us. Did not notice this until late that evening after the office was closed. Holiday weekend... office not opening again until Monday. The day of the appointment. No way to get hold of them until then.
So... off-spring, who is already freaked out about this whole adventure is doubly freaked out now, and wanting to cancel. *beats head on desk*
So... the question; does anybody have a clue just how freaking important these antibiotics ARE to this whole process? I personally think it was just a precaution and isn't going to matter in the long-run. She's convinced that awful things will happen if we don't have those stupid pills. Anybody? >_<;;
